Michael Brito was introduced to tattooing at a very young age. His father was a sailor and would take him to far off lands to help him with his voyages. It was on one of these voyages that Brito discovered his calling.
On one of their adventures to South America, the crew was captured by hostile natives. All Brito had was a notebook and a pencil. To entertain the crew Brito would draw up pictures and caricatures, but this caught the attention of the natives.
The chief summoned Brito to his chamber and commanded him to tattoo symbols on all his wives so that all other tribes would know that they were his property. Word got out and all the other tribesmen requested Brito's services. days rolled into weeks, then months, and years, and finally Brito had tattooed every member of that tribe. The chief was so pleased that he ordered that the crew be released.
Brito came back to civilization where he has been tattooing ever since.
Michael's rate is $125 per hour.
